30mm thru-axle cranks are increasingly popular due to their high stiffness and low weight. 46mm inner diameter bottom brackets are popular for the freedom they offer designers in building frames. Because of the variety of widths, the cups here extend into the shell and come with a telescoping spacer tube to further seal and stiffen the system.

The bottom bracket is already stiff thanks to hard ceramic bearings and hardened-steel races. Thanks to CeramicSpeed, it’s also nearly zero drag. Standard Bearings typically have a frictional drag of 0.3-0.4 watts per set. That’s in the range of a 75% drag reduction versus conventional bb’s. The bearings last at least 3x longer than other bearings.

Change the grease for your rides. Race Day Grease, All Round, and Long Life are greased CS designed. The first is the least drag, the last is the most durable. All Round, in the middle, comes in road bearings.

COATED

Our coated products are covered by a lifetime warranty. The unique coating formula is a metallic layer that covers the bearing races and makes them 75% harder than steel. Thanks to this, they are highly resistant to corrosion and the coating provides even lower friction than our standard bearings. Even if the bearing is contaminated with degreaser, water, or mud, the risk of bearing failure due to corrosion is negligible if you choose the coated version.
